10 NOVEMBER 2023 (TORONTO, ON) — Andrea Bocelli is embracing the holiday season with the release of his album, A Family Christmas, in a new deluxe edition as well as a new single "Festa" which accompanies this year’s John Lewis Christmas advert. He has also announced two major live performances this week: joining the line up for the 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® on November 16, and a concert as part of London’s BST Hyde Park 2024 on July 5– the first classical artist to headline in the festival’s history.

A FAMILY CHRISTMAS (DELUXE EDITION)

Following the runaway success of their first album together, The Bocelli Family release the deluxe edition of A Family Christmas on 10 November via Decca / Capitol Records / Universal Music Canada. The album features four brand-new recordings, plus five additional bonus tracks. Listen HERE.

Internationally renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli teams up with his 26-year-old son Matteo Bocelli and his 11-year-old daughter Virginia Bocelli for the album, which features new renditions of traditional carols arranged for all three voices as well as solo tracks, duets and trios which give each of the three Bocelli performers a chance to shine. A Family Christmas was the biggest new Christmas album of the year in the US in 2022.

JOHN LEWIS CHRISTMAS ADVERT

John Lewis has revealed its eagerly-anticipated Christmas TV advert for 2023, starring the most celebrated classical singer in modern history, Andrea Bocelli. The fresh new soundtrack marks a change in the campaign, highlighting the joy of old and new festive traditions.

The ad, entitled ‘Snapper, the Perfect Christmas Tree’, features the rousing track, ‘Festa’, which means ‘celebration’, written and produced by Italian duo Le Feste Antonacci specifically for the John Lewis advert, with lyrics written especially for and approved by Andrea Bocelli. LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS®

The Latin Recording Academy® has announced additional performers for the 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®, including previous nominee Andrea Bocelli who joins the star-studded line-up.

The 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast from the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) in Sevilla (Andalucía), Spain, on 16 November at 8pm ET. The ceremony will be aired in over 80 countries worldwide.

BST HYDE PARK

Andrea Bocelli has been announced as the first headliner for American Express presents BST Hyde Park – the first classical artist to headline in the festival’s history. This special UK exclusive show takes place on Friday 5 July and comes in a milestone year for Bocelli, who celebrates 30 years of his career in 2024.
