Thirteen of Italian Tenor’s Remastered Studio Albums Available Today as Individual Titles and Digital Box Set, Featuring Classic Songs of Love, Romance and Passion

(Toronto, ON – 10 February, 2015) - Globally renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is the most successful classical solo artist ever and one of the best-selling performers in any genre, having sold more than 80 million albums worldwide of both his classical and pop albums. His worldwide hit albums such as Romanza, Amore, Sogno and Passione have made him synonymous with love and romance. Today, just in time for Valentine’s Day, the 13 titles that form his incredible ‘pop’ catalogue will be released for the first time Mastered for iTunes. The collection from Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, will be available as individual albums and in a digital box set including all 13, ranging from 1994’s Il Mare Calmo Della Sera - for the first time, making its debut in most countries worldwide- to 2013’s Passione and the live Love in Portofino. Bocelli is an iconic figure in music, he has performed for 4 U.S. presidents, 3 Popes, the British Royal Family, several Prime Ministers, and as well as at ceremonies for the Olympic Games, Shanghai World Expo with a long list of admirers including Luciano Pavarotti, his teacher and guide Franco Corelli, Plácido Domingo, Zubin Mehta, José Carreras, Lorin Maazel, Renée Fleming, Céline Dion and many others. Bocelli’s concert on the Great Lawn in Central Park New York sold out within a few hours and more than 60,000 fans braved the rain to witness this historic event. Bocelli’s long list of awards begins with his win at the Sanremo Festival (with Il Mare Calmo Della Sera), as well as 7 World Music awards, Latin Grammy® award, 6 Classical Brit awards, 4 ECHO awards, Kamera awards, Bambi award, and many more.
