ARTIST SORAN DEBUTS NEW SINGLE, “COMFORTABLE”, OUT NOW
SORAN TO PLAY AT THE MONTREAL INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL ON JULY 3RD
28 FEBRUARY 2020 (TORONTO, ON) — Today Montreal-based artist Soran debuted a brand new track, “Comfortable” via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.

“Comfortable” was written by Soran and Philipp Steinke and follows the singer-songwriter’s debut single on Universal Music Canada, “Stop Myself”, listen HERE. Discussing “Comfortable”, Soran comments, “this song is about the beginnings of a relationship when it's all too perfect. The uncomfortableness in everything being too comfortable. Hope you enjoy."
Soran recently shared the stage with acclaimed artist Henri PFR in Belgium when they performed their certified gold single “Going On” at the Décibels Music Awards, watch the music video for the track HERE.
In addition to new music, the artist has announced that he will be part of the famed Montreal International Jazz Festival, performing at Club Soda in Montreal on July 3rd. Details and information on tickets can be found HERE.

Born on the south shore of Montreal to a Japanese mother and a French father, Soran grew up surrounded by his father’s musical instruments,on which he could begin to experiment and learn. Soran initially gained a strong fan following from posting covers and originals on social media and his fanbase only grew stronger after appearing on La Voix in Quebec. In 2016 Soran signed with Audiogram and released his single “I Wish.” Soran went on to release a six song EP in 2018 on which he played all the instruments and co-produced with Connor Seidel (Matt Holubowski, Elliot Maginot, Charlotte Cardin). The EP's songs have garnered over 10 million streams globally. The Summer of 2019 saw Soran collaborate with popular Belgium DJ, Henri PFR, on his summer single ‘’Going On’’. That song has amassed over 3,000,000 Spotify streams and 400,000 video views on YouTube to date. In September 2019, German DJ duo, Gamper & Dadoni, released a remix of Soran’s 'Julia’. This fresh take on ‘Julia’ further introduced Soran to new fans and the remix itself has garnered over 1,000,000 world wide streams. Soran is now back with new music via Universal Music Canada.
