(Toronto, ON – Friday, 4 April 2014) – Austin Mahone is celebrating his 18th birthday today with a major announcement for his “Mahomies.” The teen sensation will drop his debut release THE SECRET on May 27 via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, followed by a summer tour across North America. “This is for my Mahomies. Thank you for supporting me and sticking with me all this time. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than to be able to announce new music and a huge tour for all you guys!” “Mahomies” have been anxiously awaiting new music from pop sensation Austin Mahone and now the wait is finally over. The release will include the fan-favourite smash single “Mmm Yeah” featuring Pitbull. Austin has collaborated with some of the top artists and producers in the industry including Red One to complete THE SECRET with music he knows his “Mahomies” will love. He will take the new music on the road when he kicks off his biggest tour yet, hitting 26 cities across North America this summer with more dates to be announced. Also recently announced, Austin will appear as a guest performer on The Next Star: SuperGroup live season finale on YTV, Sunday, April 13 at 7 p.m. ET/PT, where he will perform back-to-back songs, including his new single “Mmm Yeah” featuring Pitbull. Austin Mahone’s tour will kick off in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas on July 25, with one Canadian date in Toronto, ON on August 13.
