Billie Eilish and Khalid Join Forces for New Single “lovely”

 

18 April 2018 (Toronto, ON) – Billie Eilish and Khalid, two of the most exciting young American artists to be making waves on a global scale, have joined forces and released a brand-new track, available worldwide today via Darkroom/Interscope/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Titled “lovely” (with Khalid), this stunning new single goes back to basics and showcases the extraordinary raw talent these two songwriters and vocalists both possess. This is the latest release to come from 16-year-old Billie Eilish since dropping “bitches broken hearts,” last month following the release of her debut EP dont smile at me (featuring her RIAA GOLD certified smash “ocean eyes”). “lovely” (with Khalid) premiered this morning as a Beats1 World Record with long-time fan and supporter Zane Lowe and is available on all digital platforms now. The song was co-written by Billie, Khalid, and her brother Finneas, who also produced the track. 

 

Earlier this month, Billie Eilish wrapped her three-month long sold-out WHERES MY MIND tour, which took her across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe, Great Britain, the United States, and Canada. Last month, she performed “bellyache” on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Billie and her brother Finneas also covered New York rockers The Strokes’ “Call Me Back” for Jimmy at 30 Rock. This coming Saturday, April 21, Eilish will help usher in Record Store Day 2018 with the release of an exclusive 7” pink vinyl featuring an acoustic version of EP track “party favor” plus an inventive acoustic cover of Drake’s international hit single “Hotline Bling”. Billie Eilish is currently working on her debut album and will be performing at multiple festivals this summer including Osheaga in Montréal on August 4, and Lollapalooza, Chicago’s biggest annual music festival, on opening night.
