Youngest Artist Ever to be Selected for BBC’s Sound of 2018 Longlist

Announces WHERES MY MIND 2018 Headlining Tour Throughout Europe and North America Including Two Canadian Dates

27 November 2017 (Toronto, ON) – With 2017 being a year of momentous accomplishments, 15-year-old Billie Eilish continues to ascend as she sets her sights on 2018. After releasing her critically acclaimed debut EP dont smile at me this past August via Darkroom/Interscope Records/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, Billie was named Apple Music’s Up Next Artist, shining a spotlight on the pop star’s impressive career to date. Apple kicked things off with an exclusive interview with Julie Adenuga on Beats1 and released a fascinating new mini documentary on the rising star, which is now available via Apple Music HERE. This month, Billie launched VEVO’s dscvr Artist To Watch in 2018 as the first artist announced in the series and today, she has made history as the youngest artist to ever be long listed for the BBC's Sound of 2018.

This year also saw Billie’s first headlining tours across North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand completely sell out. Eager to get back on the road and connect with her fans, Billie Eilish today announces her forthcoming 2018 WHERES MY MIND headlining tour across North America and Europe. Set to begin on February 14 in London at the 1,000+ capacity venue, Heaven (which sold out in a day), the tour will include stops in European cities such Paris, Milan, Stockholm, and Berlin before continuing onto a 17-date North American tour with two Canadian dates in March.

Earlier this month, Billie surprised fans with the unexpected release of the soulful track, “bitches broken hearts” via Soundcloud. The song reached #1 on HypeMachine, racked up an impressive 600k+ streams in under a week, was hailed by NYLON as a “hypnotic ode to the bittersweetness of lost love and fresh starts”, and was praised by Pigeons & Planes for its “woozy blend of electric piano, vocal samples, and sparse percussion.” Listen to “bitches broken hearts” HERE.

This fall, Billie Eilish made her live daytime television debut when she stopped by MTV’s TRL in New York City to perform her viral hit, “ocean eyes” (watch HERE) and her late night TV debut on CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden (watch HERE).
