13 OCTOBER 2023 (TORONTO, ON) — boygenius (Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus) have released a brand-new EP, the rest. The band performed first track “Black Hole” at their sold-out Boston show in September and unveiled one additional track at each tour stop before performing the EP in full at their sold-out Madison Square Garden debut earlier this month. The four-track EP is an expansion of their critically acclaimed debut full-length the record, and continues to showcase the band’s songwriting prowess and distinct sound.

The band kicked off their sold-out fall tour leg with two shows in Boston (MGM Music Hall at Fenway), followed by stops in New Haven (Westville Music Bowl) and Philadelphia (TD Pavilion at The Mann) before their Madison Square Garden debut on October 2nd. While in New York, the band stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theater to perform a stripped down acoustic version of “Cool About It,” from the record, on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. They will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl with 100 gecs and special guest Sloppy Jane for a special Halloween event on October 31.
