26 JANUARY 2018 (Toronto, ON) – Atlantic Canada’s best kept secret, Elijah Will, releases his debut EP, 3AM, today via Half Life Records / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Elijah also unveils the EP’s title track, “3AM”, available for stream/purchase HERE.
3AM EP was produced by Luke Boyd (Classified) and recorded in Enfield, Nova Scotia. The EP features five brand new tracks alongside three special acoustic versions. “Going into this EP I had some things to get off my chest. But I think the issues I get into on this record will resonate with a lot of people. Wherever you're at, there is definitely something for everyone on it,” shares Elijah.
Raised in rural Nova Scotia, Elijah started turning heads in 2015 after linking up with acclaimed Canadian hip-hop artist, Classified and singing on his track “Beautiful Escape”. Since then, Elijah is the first signing to Classified’s new music label, Half Life Records. “I’m excited to be part of launching Elijah’s career with Half Life Records. The partnership between Half Life, Black Box and Universal Music Canada will give new artists like Elijah a solid platform to release and promote their material in Canada. I’ve been with him since the beginning and I can’t wait for everyone to hear Elijah’s music and to see what’s next!” proclaims artist/producer Classified.
After four years of working with Classified and the Half Life Records team, Elijah has gained the experience, confidence, and has backing of a strong musical family to now step out with his own music with influences that include Frank Ocean. “Keep an open mind and be true to yourself,” he says, departing on a worldwide adventure sharing his distinct pop sound.
The release of his EP will be supported with a string of live performances on the East Coast, presented by Half Life Records (full list of dates below). This live set showcases Elijah’s unique vocals and rawness of his performance in a whole new way for listeners.
Fans can be sure to expect lots more from Elijah through the course of the year with his debut EP marking only the beginning for this rising star.
