03 NOVEMBER 2023 (TORONTO, ON) – Canadian pop diva Jeanick Fournier, winner of Canada’s Got Talent 2022, officially releases the deluxe edition of her latest studio album Vivante today. The expanded version of the album includes three new songs: the previously released singleQuelque chose de beau”, “La nuit ne ment pas”, and the focus trackMa raison de vivre, a sweet new track co-written with television personality and host of Ouvre ton jeu, Marie-Claude Barrette.

The standard version of Vivante was released in May 2023. The deluxe edition arrives just days before Jeanick Fournier is set to hit the stage as a performer at the 2023 ADISQ Gala on Sunday, November 5, where she is also nominated for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year for Vivante and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Vivante (Deluxe) marks a monumental moment in Jeanick Fournier’s impressive career to-date, featuring her first collaboration with Marie-Claude Barrette on the song “Ma raison de vivre”, which is dedicated to her loved ones, her children Yohan and Emma, and her partner. The beautiful ballad is one of the very first songs that television host Marie-Claude Barrette has written. Jeanick and Marie-Claude shared an emotional moment earlier this year during an interview on Ouvre ton jeu, where they both shared tear-jerking personal stories with one another about their children.

This song is such a beautiful gift but above all, my meeting with Marie-Claude Barrette… incredible!” says Jeanick Fournier about the collaboration. “After our meeting on the set of her TVA show where she told me I was carrying light within me, I told her right away that it would make a great song! I sent her a message while I was making the album Vivante and she jumped into this adventure with me.

Putting words to a melody to tell the story of this incredible human being Jeanick Fournier is a real honour for me,” adds Marie-Claude Barrette about the song. “A remarkable meeting.”
