“Call Me Maybe”, the first single from Curiosity is already certified Gold and currently sits inside the Top 10 at radio. It reached #1 on the iTunes® Song Chart this week and the video is in POWER rotation at MuchMusic. Jepsen co-wrote “Call Me Maybe” with Josh Ramsay (Marianas Trench) and Tavish Crowe.
Famous fans of Jepsen include Justin Bieber who recently Tweeted : “’Call Me Maybe’ by Carly Rae Jepsen is possibly the catchiest song I’ve ever heard lol”, while his girlfriend Selena Gomez followed with “This smile is because of Carly Rae Jepsen. We have not stopped listening to your song girl!”
