Released via Universal Music Canada, the track builds on its rise from a fan-driven moment to one of the year’s most impactful rap records, now expanding onto a global stage and marking a major step forward in Casper’s trajectory.
Since its release, “The Market” has continued to gain momentum, now surpassing 12.6 million global streams. The record has remained the #1 Sound on TikTok in Canada for eleven consecutive weeks, generating more than 131 million views and over 107K user creations, while the official video has surpassed 3.7 million views on YouTube. Across platforms, the track continues to chart and trend, including placements on YouTube’s Weekly Top Songs and the Shazam charts, as well as reaching #66 on the US Urban Radio chart, continuing its rise as one of the year’s most talked-about rap releases.
Casper TNG takes the next step in his rise with the official “The Market” remix, linking with A Boogie wit da Hoodie alongside 100Bandplan. The collaboration marks a major co-sign, pairing Casper’s melodic, street-rooted storytelling with one of hip-hop’s most recognizable voices, as A Boogie adds his signature tone and perspective to the record. Produced by Heath Stone, the release is accompanied by an official video, out now, bringing the record’s energy to life on screen.

Casper TNG is a Toronto hip-hop artist whose music has been a fixture in the city’s underground hip hop scene for over a decade. He brings his own creative approach to music, meshing melodically delivered lyrics authentically connected to his immediate street environment with dark and atmospheric production, making for a brooding and compelling mix.
Growing up between Alexandra Park and Regent Park in Toronto, Casper TNG was drawn early to the intersection of rap and R&B, shaped by a deeply musical environment. By the early 2010s, a young Casper, who shortened his The Neighbourhood Ghost nickname to serve as his rapping suffix, was uploading songs to his YouTube channel.
