LEAD SINGLE “JUST A LITTLE LOVE” AVAILABLE NOW

17 November 2014 - TORONTO, ON - Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame inductee Colin James will release his 16th studio album, Hearts On Fire on 03 February 2015 via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The album will be made available for pre-order 09 December 2014. At that time, purchasers will receive the track “Just A Little Love” as an instant grat track. Hearts On Fire was co-produced by Colin James and long-time collaborator Colin Linden (ABC’s Nashville). The album was recorded at House of Blues in Nashville, TN and Magic Ten Studios in Vancouver, BC. The lead single, “Just a Little Love” features a stellar line-up of musicians that includes; George Receli (drums and percussion), Willie Weeks (bass), Reese Wynan (keyboards), Colin Linden (guitar) and Ann & Regina McCrary (backup vocals). “Making this record with my good friend Colin Linden with such a fantastic veteran rhythm section was an amazing experience,” Colin recounts. “The majority of the recording was done in Nashville during a stretch of warm spring weather so every time I hear the songs I feel like I’m right back in The South.  I hope my fans enjoy listening to this record as much as we all enjoyed making it.” Special for the coming holiday season Colin has written and recorded a brand new track “By December” that will be serviced to radio and available as a separate digital single December 09 that will not be included on the new album. In conjunction with the release of the album, Colin will also embark on his first cross Canada tour since 2012.  Many shows will go on sale this Friday November 21.  Full list of dates below.
