DAGNY Releases New Song “Love You Like That”

On the heels of her popular 2017 smash “Wearing Nothing”, “Love You Like That” stands out as another unpredictable, unshakable, and undeniable anthem from the singer. The song builds from a breathy verse into a hummable bridge punctuated by guitars and eighties-style synths.
On the song Dagny noted: “"Love You Like That" is the first proper love song I've ever released. It's funny because I've always been weary of using the phrase I love you in songs, in fear of sounding too cliché or corny, but then I just went and broke the amounts-of-I love you-in-one-song record. And it feels good. I'm not a particularly romantic person nor am I great at telling people how I feel about them, so this was probably long over-due. If you love someone, you should tell them. The song was written in Los Angeles with Jason Gill and Michelle Buzz. We started session at 11 in the morning, and got so excited about the track that we ran with it and didn't finish writing and recording it until 4 am in the morning. My flight back to Europe left at 7:30 am-I knew this song was going to be a special one, and to me it is.”
Just recently, Dagny breathed new life into Andrea True’s seventies classic “More More More”, made for Target’s “More In Store” campaign. Simultaneously, “Wearing Nothing” shows no signs of slowing down as its closing in on 10 million Spotify streams in just a few months’ time and counting.
