DEMI LOVATO DEBUTS CINEMATIC MUSIC VIDEO FOR “TELL ME YOU LOVE ME” FEATURING JESSE WILLIAMS

“This song is one of my favorites which is why I named my album after it. I not only love singing it but I think the underlying meaning is important for people to know. At the end of the day you have everything you need standing right in front of you. And that’s yourself. Shooting this video was really fun too! We had a full on wedding and my best friends were even my bridesmaids and groomsmen. The locations were absolutely beautiful. It was perfect and I’m so excited to show everyone!” – Demi Lovato

01 DECEMBER 2017 (Toronto, ON) - Grammy®-nominated, multi-platinum singer and song-writer Demi Lovato debuts the official video for her new single Tell Me You Love Me today. Shot on location in Los Angeles and directed by Mark Pellington, the powerful video co-stars actor, model and activist Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy).  “Tell Me You Love Me” follows up the platinum smash “Sorry Not Sorry”, both of which are featured in her latest album Tell Me You Love Me, released earlier this year via Island / Safehouse / Hollywood Records / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.

The album exploded to a #1 debut on the iTunes album chart in the U.S. and 40 territories around the world shortly after its release with the strength of “Sorry Not Sorry”, one of the fastest-rising hits in Demi’s career. Showcasing “one of the year’s most unstoppable voices” (Entertainment Weekly), the track has logged over 500 million global streams, and over 250 million views for its unbridled house party video. Underscoring Tell Me You Love Me’s pop soulful flair, “Sorry Not Sorry” is joined in the Top 10 at Pop radio (U.S.) by “No Promises”, Demi’s collaboration with Cheat Codes.

This year, in addition to her critically hailed album, Demi released a 78-minute documentary film, Simply Complicated which has amassed over 11 million views to date. Most recently, she was also featured on Luis Fonsi’s follow-up single to his massive global #1 hit, “Despacito”, titled “Echame La Culpa”. The accompanying music video for the track achieved rapid success, breaking VEVO’s Latin record for most viewed in the first 24-hours with 17.1 million views.

Demi is set to embark on a North American tour, with special guest multi-platinum, hip-hop icon DJ Khaled and Kehlani. Kicking off on February 26 in San Diego, CA, the 20-city run includes two Canadian shows – March 17 in Montreal and March 19 in Toronto – and wraps March 31 in Tampa, FL.
