DISCLOSURE RELEASES NEW SINGLE, “ULTIMATUM” FT. FATOUMATA DIAWARA

 

 

18 May 2018 (Toronto, ON) – GRAMMY®-nominated U.K. duo Disclosure surprise fans today by dropping a brand-new single, “Ultimatum” featuring Malian musician Fatoumata Diawara, via Island Records/PMR Records/Method Records/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Disclosure – comprised of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence – told fans via social media, “Sorry it’s been a while – we have been missing you all immensely, so we wanted to share with you something we’ve been working on now the sun is shining and the trees are green. A few months ago, we stumbled across an amazing female vocalist named Fatoumata Diawara. While digging through her discography we discovered this beautiful sample and started messing around, having fun and experimenting with it. The result is our new song, ‘Ultimatum.’”

 

Disclosure’s 2013 debut album, Settle, and its follow-up, Caracal, (2015) were each nominated for a GRAMMY Award. Both albums charted at No. 1 on the Official Albums chart in the U.K. The duo is currently at work on their third album.
