DJ SNAKE RELEASES NEW SINGLE, “MAGENTA RIDDIM”, OUT TODAY 

23 FEBRUARY 2018 (Toronto, ON) – Grammy-nominated French DJ and producer DJ Snake releases new single, “Magenta Riddim”, today on Geffen Records/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Written and produced by DJ Snake himself, the festival banger arrives as the first of a series of new music to come in 2018. 

“Magenta Riddim” follows up DJ Snake’s most recent hit, “A Different Way”, featuring Lauv. The track peaked at No. 1 on Shazam’s Future Hits chart and has racked up over 200 million total combined streams since its release. The heart-warming, uplifting music video arrived shortly after the single, directed by award-winning director Colin Tilley (DJ Khaled & Rihanna’s “Wild Thoughts”, Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright”, Future’s “Mask Off”), who also shot DJ Snake’s video for his single “Middle”. DJ Snake is set to play a sold out arena show at AccorHotels Arena in his hometown of Paris tomorrow, February 24 including more new music and over 668 square meters of LED in a huge new stage design and visual show debut. 

DJ Snake (AKA William Grigahcine) has seen incredible success since releasing his 2016 debut album, Encore. The album hit No. 1 on the Dance chart and Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and debuted in the Top 10 around the world, including at No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
