FIRST SINGLE, “ONE IN A MILLION”, NOW PLATINUM TITLE TRACK SINGLE AT RADIO NOW

(21 August 2013 – Toronto, ON) – The unrestrained, genre-defying juggernaut that is Down With Webster today announce the October 22 release of their eagerly-anticipated third album: the never-more-aptly-titled PARTY FOR YOUR LIFE, through Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The album’s first single, “One In A Million”, is certified Platinum in Canada and second single, “Party For Your Life”, is at radio, streaming services, and iTunes today.

DWW spent much of last summer between Los Angeles and Toronto, locked in studios and writing rooms  with producers like Ludwig Goransson (Childish Gambino, Haim), and the Maven Boys (The Game) in preparation for the new album, which is co-produced by Down With Webster.  PARTY FOR YOUR LIFE also reunites the group with producers Boi-1da and James Robertson.  Watch a video teaser for the album here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dd_G5GMFKCc&feature=youtu.be Formed over a decade ago as students, Down With Webster have built a fiercely loyal following on the strength of their must-be-seen-to-be-believed live performances and their singles “Rich Girl$”, “Your Man”, “She’s Dope” and “Whoa Is Me”, which have combined to sell more than 500,000 downloads.  DWW are five-time JUNO Award nominees, who memorably opened the broadcast of the 40th anniversary gala in their hometown of Toronto, in 2011. DWW returns home for Coca-Cola Canada’s Free Happy Fest concert at Toronto’s Echo Beach on September 14 before they join Radical Something for a month of US touring beginning September 17.
