FALL OUT BOY RETURNS WITH NEW ALBUM ‘SAVE ROCK AND ROLL’ ON MAY 7

FIRST SINGLE "MY SONGS KNOW WHAT YOU DID IN THE DARK (LIGHT EM UP)" AVAILABLE TODAY AT iTUNES

04 FEBRUARY 2013 (Toronto, ON) – Chicago’s multi-platinum hitmakers Fall Out Boy have put an end to rumours and speculation with the release of their new single, "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)”, available today here. This track is the first from the upcoming album, SAVE ROCK AND ROLL, available April 15 via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.

SAVE ROCK AND ROLL is Fall Out Boy’s eighth album and also marks the 10th anniversary of the band’s first full length studio release, the double-platinum selling Take This To Your Grave. Patrick Stump (vocals/guitar), Pete Wentz (bass), Joe Trohman (guitar) and Andy Hurley (drums) commemorated the occasion at Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field, the original site of Disco Demolition from 1979 as they burned their solo albums together on 04 February 2013.

To continue the celebration, Fall Out Boy will play three intimate one-night-only club dates for their fans this week in Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles before embarking on a worldwide tour this spring.
