Most importantly, it paves the way for her highly anticipated debut album Just Because, landing on October 6th via slowplay/Republic Records/Universal Music Canada. With its nostalgic lyrics and cinematic production, the upbeat “Screw Time” attempts to bottle carefree teenage bliss before it slips away into impending adulthood. In a plea to hold on to the moment, she urges, “I need a pause button. The accompanying visual reflects this spirit with bright colors, close friends, and awesome trampolines. It’s undeniably Claire Rosinkranz through and through.

Claire explains, “The song is about the feeling of being in some of your most prime growing up years and wanting to live in all of the memories you’ve made forever. Instead, you watch time push you further away from your favorite moments faster and faster. Screw time!”

Prior, she paved the way for Just Because with the likes of “Sad In Hawaii” and “Never Goes Away,” piling up millions of streams and stirring up excitement among fans. Not to mention, she recently teamed up with Louis The Child on their summertime anthem “Walls.”

On Just Because, Claire captures all of the joy, confusion, anxiety, and wonder of growing up through 13 tracks set to a soundtrack of gleeful guitars, lo-fi production, and chantable choruses—all under the California sun. Throughout 2022, she wrote and recorded the album with producers Afterhrs, Paul Phamous, Stint, Elie Rizk, and her most frequent collaborator, executive producer, and dad Ragnar Rosinkranz.

On the album, she states, Just Because is a collection of songs I wrote about my life as an 18-year-old. It’s a window into my world as I’m growing up and navigating life. Enjoy stepping into my lil movie.”

Coming up next, Claire is set to perform a slew of live shows across the country and in Australia – see a full list of upcoming tour dates below and at www.clairerosinkranz.com/shows/.
