CONFIRMED PERFORMANCES AT COACHELLA, LOLLAPALOOZA, AND OSHEAGA

13 APRIL 2017 (Toronto, ON)  This week, critically acclaimed 19-year-old Portland iconoclast and genre disruptive Grace Mitchell unleashes a brand new single entitled Now” out now via Casablanca/Republic Records/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Get it HERE. Arriving hot on the heels of her acclaimed 2017 release Kids (Ain’t All Right), Mitchell delivers another unpredictable anthem. Volleying between moments of piano-driven calm into guitar ecstasy, she carries the thought-provoking refrain, “Forget about your friends. They’ll leave you in the end. Don’t you want to be in the now? Forget about the fame. It’s only just a game. Don’t you want to be in the now?” This summer, Mitchell engages a full-scale festival takeover, performing at numerous major fests across North America. She’ll be igniting stages at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Outside Lands, and more. In 2015, her critically acclaimed RACEDAY EP yielded the viral song “NOLO.” The track would go on to reach nearly 5 million Spotify streams as she drew acclaim from Buzzfeed, Glamour, Noisey, Nylon, Apple Music, and many more, while Zane Lowe debuted the EP single “Jitter” as a coveted “World Record.” On the road, Mitchell graced countless stages including the international Apple Music Festival opening for The Weeknd, CMJ, SXSW, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, and Coachella in addition to touring with Mø, JoyWave and St. Lucia. gracemitchell.com
