01 NOVEMBER 2019 (TORONTO, ON) - Watch the striking new video for “Shurayo” by Guy Sigsworth, which is released today alongside a 3 track EP of the same title. Taken from his debut solo album stet, out now on Mercury KX/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. “Shurayo” features long-time friend and collaborator Imogen Heap (with whom he formed Frou Frou) who sings lyrics written in “Uchinaaguchi” by Okinawan musician Mika Uchizato. Also featured on the EP is a second track called “Shimauta” plus an alternative version of ‘Shurayo’ both featuring Mika Uchizato on vocals.
Celebrated worldwide for his work with the biggest names in music, the legendary songwriter and producer has collaborated with global superstars including Björk, Britney Spears, Madonna, Imogen Heap, Robyn, Alanis Morissette and Alison Moyet.
Over the past 20 years, Guy Sigsworth has helped shape some of the most iconic music of our generation. This year for the first time, the man behind the music stepped into the limelight with his first solo studio album, stet, out now via Mercury KX/Universal Music Canada.
