Originally featured on her chart-dominating second full-length album, hopeless fountain kingdom, “Alone” has already amassed almost 20 million cumulative streams and counting. It’s also a critic’s favorite, with The Guardian calling the track “the album’s standout,” and Pitchfork describing it as “plush with brass and cellos.” This is fresh take on Halsey’s song crisscrosses a swaggering verse from Big Sean and an island-swept cameo courtesy of U.K. trailblazer Stefflon Don.
Halsey continues to flourish, receiving an “Outstanding Music Artist” nomination for hopeless fountain kingdom from the 2018 GLAAD Awards. She pushes creative boundaries expanding her influence and impact beyond music diving into fashion. High-end fashion retailer Yves Saint Laurent recently tapped her as a brand ambassador of YSL Beauté where she will help create and share makeup looks that speak to today’s millennial.
