21 OCTOBER 2014 (Toronto, ON) – Canadian rockers HEADSTONES today announce the November 24 release of One In The Chamber Music via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. After a decade’s hiatus, HEADSTONES released Love + Fury in 2013 to the delight of audiences in search of the band’s distinctive blend of high-octane rock ‘n’ roll. The band very much in form follows with One In The Chamber Music, a collection of a dozen fan-requested new arrangements of catalogue favourites as well as two brand-new titles, Laugh Lines and first single Colourless, which is available as an instant grat for fans pre-ordering the album from today. Hugh Dillon, Trent Carr, Tim White, and Dale Harrison again engaged with their fanbase as on Love + Fury, once more using the PledgeMusic platform to give greater access to the creative process. “We really enjoy the ability to interact directly with our audience,” says Dillon. “It’s a thrill when on stage but bringing a new level of communication before going into the studio and during recording brings out an interesting dynamic of collaboration that we’ve discovered we like.” This bespoke tailoring has translated into a perfect fit with One In The Chamber Music, where HEADSTONES took 12 songs from their catalogue in for alterations of arrangement, giving them an acoustically-rooted flavour which showcases a lesser-seen side of the musicians’ craft. The sessions also provided the perfect platform for revealing new compositions Colourless and Laugh Lines, which immediately take their place alongside HEADSTONES’ canon. The multi-platinum HEADSTONES have a record of 16 Top Ten singles at Canadian rock radio and are held in high regard for their unbridled live show.
