08 JANUARY 2015 (Toronto, ON) – Jack Garratt reveals “Worry” as the first official single from his forthcoming debut album, PHASE, set for release on February 19 via Island/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The unveiling of “Worry” coincides with the news that Garratt has been crowned the winner of the BBC’s Sound of 2016 poll, which smartly follows his being named the BRITS Critics Choice for 2016, and picking up the BBC Introducing Award last month. “Worry” is the song that started this incredible journey for Jack Garratt, some eighteen months ago, both on his 2014 self-released debut EP and as a longstanding highlight of the young British artist/producer’s live set, which has been honed via support slots in the UK and US with Mumford & Sons as well as his own sold-out dates. As necessitated by the supporting bills and festival circuit, Garratt’s live show has mutated into an arena-ready spectacle. Performing solo and armed with all the instruments Garratt utilizes on PHASE, it is a breathtaking, multi-faceted performance that has already translated to the big stages he will next be headlining. Following the release of PHASE, Jack Garratt will head out on a North American run kicking off February 26 in Massachusetts and including a Canadian stop for a sold-out show in Toronto at The Garrison on March 3.
