JADE EAGLESON CELEBRATES MAJOR LABEL DEBUT WITH THE RELEASE OF “GOT YOUR NAME ON IT”
18 MAY 2018 (Toronto, ON) – Today, Canadian country newcomer Jade Eagleson announces his major label debut with the release of single, “Got Your Name On It” via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The feel-good love tune was written by Jade Eagleson, Gavin Slate, Travis ‘T-Buck’ Wood, and Todd Clark. Download/stream “Got Your Name On It” HERE.

Jade personifies the sound and heart of old school country. At only 23-years-old, his voice will take you back in time to the days of Johnny Cash, George Jones and Randy Travis. Raised on his grandparent’s farm in Southern Ontario, Jade worked alongside his father tending crops and raising livestock. And while life may have lead him off the farm for a stint here and there, it always brought him back just the same.
Despite making music most of his life, Jade only considered country music as a career when confronted with the challenge of keeping his family farm. And while he may have started that career playing near empty bars, he caught his break in 2017 when he earned his way into the Emerging Artist Showcase at Boots and Hearts, where he played in front of more than 20,000 country fans. Jade’s voice stunned audiences and separated him from the rest of the pack as he walked away with top honours. Jade was immediately signed to Universal Music Canada and has been working on his debut album ever since. Stay tuned for more music to come from Jade.
