Jamiroquai Releases Single and Music Video for “Superfresh”

29 June 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Today sees Jamiroquai unveil the second official single and music video from their eighth studio album, Automaton, released via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Written and self-produced by frontman Jay Kay and Jamiroquai keyboard-maestro Matt Johnson, “Superfresh” is an infectious disco-drenched summer anthem that marries electronic music with bass-heavy classic soul to create the English outfit’s ground-breaking sound. “Superfresh” is the band’s first single since the album landed at #1 on iTunes in 38 countries across the world.

Directed by Charlie Lightening, the video was inspired by the visual themes behind automaton and how humans interact with the rise of artificial intelligence and technology in our world today.

It’s been an incredible return for the band since the release of Automaton, their first record in over nine years. Their first live dates in over seven years sold-out within thirty seconds and with every announcement, Jamiroquai have trended globally.
