JAZZ CARTIER’S 16-TRACK PROJECT, FLEUREVER, OUT TODAY!

27 July 2018 (Toronto, ON) — Jazz Cartier shines on his long-awaited new project, Fleurever. The 16-track record includes previously released singles, “Right Now” and “GODFLOWER,” as well as new standouts like the dark guitar-laced “Gliss” and manic club anthem, “VVS” feat. KTOE. Inspired by the quality of life and his drive to leave a lasting legacy, Fleurever showcases Jazz Cartier’s artistic growth by offering a glimpse into the psyche of one of hip-hop’s most dynamic young stars. A true Toronto affair, Fleurever highlights the most exciting talents from Jazz Cartier’s hometown, both veterans and newcomers, including KTOE, WondaGurl, Daniel Worthy, Lantz, DZL, Krinny, 4th Pyramid and more. Fleurever is distributed globally via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, listen to the album HERE.
Cartier also announced today that he will be celebrating the Fleurever release with a three-part concert series titled Fleurever Yours. Since dropping his Juno Award winning project, Hotel Paranoia, two years ago, Cartier has grown from rap’s underground underdog to one of Canada's hottest exports. Receiving widespread critical acclaim, certifying gold for the singles “Tempted’ and “Dead Or Alive” and touring extensively throughout North America.
Striving to create a legacy on his own terms, Jazz has taken the time in between projects to perfect his most ambitious body of work, Fleurever. “The driving force of Fleurever is duality -- whether it’s battling the balances of love and money, risks and rewards, right and wrong, or living and dying. I shed a lot of old layers in order to grow new wings,” Jazz Cartier shared with Billboard. From the introspective self-reflection on “Soul Searcher” to the magnetic energy of “Right Now,” (a track that became the official anthem for the Toronto Raptor's during the 2018 NBA playoffs) Fleurever marks the next phase in Jazz Cartier’s evolution. As Jazz’s profile has grown to include features from prominent media like GQ, Billboard, Noisey, and Sway in the Morning and endorsements from brands like Reebok, Nike, Roots, Atelier New Regime and Nordstrom, the influence Jazz has with his artistry is proving to be infinite.
