17 APRIL 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Jeff Goldblum is reunited with Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo for a new version of "If I Only Had a Brain," out now on Fontana. Famously sung by the Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) and Dorothy (Judy Garland) in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, this new version sees Erivo duet playfully with Goldblum (on vocals and piano), accompanied by his longtime band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
Hot on the heels of Goldblum’s second turn as the Wizard in Wicked: For Good (Universal), the single is taken from his forthcoming record Night Blooms, a suite of shimmering standards and star-studded new collaborations. Set for release on 5th June 2026, and featuring Goldblum’s versatile and seasoned piano playing throughout, it is the companion album to 2025’s Top 10 (and Jazz No.1) record Still Blooming.
It is clear that starring in a major screen musical has deepened Goldblum’s lifelong love of playing piano and singing, helping to turn a 30-year passion project into a successful parallel career.
This year Goldblum and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra also embark upon The Night Blooms World Tour, a run of dates in spring and summer 2026 across iconic international venues showcasing the forthcoming album. The tour will include special one night only performances with The Metropolitan Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House and a 50+ piece orchestra at London’s Royal Albert Hall – boosting Goldblum’s music into something stratospheric.
Further to this, additional UK dates have been added, taking Goldblum and his band to Wolverhampton, Glasgow and Manchester (see below for details).
The Night Blooms World Tour will bring these recordings to life on stage, serving audiences an intimate yet exuberant evening of jazz and storytelling with a delicious dollop of Hollywood vibes, featuring Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra at their most playful and creatively adventurous yet, with some very special guests along the way.
