13 APRIL 2017 (TORONTO, ON) - Toronto-based singer and songwriter Jessie Reyez has announced her debut EP, Kiddo, will arrive to much anticipation on April 21 via Republic Records / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Reyez first broke out in late summer 2016 with ‘Figures’, a gorgeous stripped-back hymn featuring Reyez floating melodically above an acoustic guitar, and an emotional video that premiered on The FADER. The track quickly exploded online and thrust Reyez into the spotlight as a much buzzed about artist to watch.  In early 2017, she released her second track ‘Shutter Island’, with a fear-inducing video that premiered on Pigeons & Planes. Combined, both singles have surpassed 15M streams worldwide, both as independent releases. They've also earned Reyez fans like Zane Lowe and Elton John, both of whom have supported her on Beats 1 Radio. The forthcoming EP, Kiddo promises to delve deeper into her personal experiences while remaining unrestrained by conventional boundaries of a single genre or sound.
