17 APRIL 2026 (TORONTO, ON) - Jessie Ware returns with her new album Superbloom – out today via EMI. You can listen to the album HERE.

Superbloom is an album rich in cinematics, shaped by womanhood, pleasure, intimacy and connection. While earlier records found Ware reaching toward escapism, this one plants both feet firmly on the ground, trading fantasy for presence: the feeling of skin, of genuine human contact, and the quiet confidence of a woman who knows herself completely. Featuring recently released singles "Automatic", "Ride", and "I Could Get Used To This", each one has demonstrated how far Ware's artistic vocabulary has grown. Ware’s influences run deep: the warmth of seventies soul, the irresistible pull of disco, and an unmistakably contemporary sense of authority.

Ware explains of the album and its inspiration: “I love dance music and still think this is a dance and groove record, but I was ready to write about connecting with real relationships and appreciate the love I have, and the fears I have of losing it.”

“Whether it’s the Garden of Eden or a garden of fertility and fecundity where goddesses play, the main inspiration here was the goddess Juno…I’m not saying I’m a goddess, by the way, but I wanted to embody one. I’ve been given so much confidence by fans who loved seeing me dress up, lean into characters and sing out whilst also allowing me to be myself and feel celebrated.”

As she has done consistently since 2020, Ware took the A&R reins herself, refusing to cede creative ownership to anyone else. Working once again with James Ford, she also brought in Barney Lister, Karma Kid, Jon Shave (Charli XCX), and Stuart Price, with mixing duties handled by Ben Baptie, whose credits span Sault, Little Simz and Adele.

The album lands nearly three years on from ‘That! Feels Good!’ , which broke into the UK Albums Chart at No. 3 and set a new personal best for Ware on the US Top Album Sales chart. Critics from The Guardian, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and NME all united in their praise, while live performances at Glastonbury, Primavera, and the British Fashion Awards - alongside the breakout success of singles 'Free Yourself' , 'Pearls' , and 'Begin Again' - confirmed her standing as one of contemporary pop's most essential figures. Ware also recently announced her biggest tour to date and first-ever UK arena run – including performances across North America with a stop at New York’s iconic Radio City Music Hall, before finishing with a huge hometown show at London’s The O2 Arena. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Superbloom doesn't wander in search of an identity. It arrives with one already intact.
