Trippie Redd)” via Republic Records/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Coinciding with the release of the new track, is the accompanying lyric video which is available to view online HERE. The song heralds the arrival of her anxiously awaited full-length debut—coming soon.
“Jump” reteams Michaels with frequent producer Nick Monson and longtime co-writer Justin Tranter. On the track, ethereal production ignites a groundswell of energy as the singer’s breathy verses culminate on a huge hypnotic hook just before Ohio rap maverick Trippie Redd drops an emotive and engaging verse of his own.
Since emerging in 2015, Michaels has transformed pop not only from behind-the-scenes as a songwriter whose credits span everyone from Justin Bieber to Selena Gomez, but in the spotlight as a solo artist. Her rapid rise can be attributed to identifiable honesty in every lyric. Within just a year since arrival, she garnered 2018 GRAMMY® nominations in the categories of “Best New Artist” and “Song of the Year” for “Issues”.
