(TORONTO, ON – 8 October 2013) – Toronto rock and roll outfit July Talk will release an expanded version of their breakthrough self-titled debut album with four new tracks on October 15 via Sleepless Records (Formerly White Girl Records)/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The band’s latest single, “Guns + Ammunition”, is currently climbing the Canadian rock radio charts. You can watch the never-ending video for the single here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iU5qp-cAtOU Peter Dreimanis fronts July Talk alongside Leah Fay. Looking forward to the release he says, “We’ve always felt that the first record is a good introduction to the band and the conversation between Leah and I. It was important to us to add new material because we didn’t feel like that introduction was finished. We’ve been on the road all year, a lot has happened and there is simply more to say.” Having toured with Matt Mays and Billy Talent alongside appearances at Edgefest and Hillside Music Festival this summer, July Talk’s wild stage presence and vocal dichotomy has garnered many fans and rave reviews. CBC Music writes, “It is very rare to find a band that has an extremely distinct stage presence, let alone one that has a unique sound with an equally unique show.” Upcoming tour dates are listed below.
