SECOND BIEBER ALBUM THIS YEAR TO TOP THE CHARTS
Wednesday, 09 November 2011 (Toronto, ON) - Justin Bieber's Christmas album, Under The Mistletoe (Island Records/Universal Music Canada) has debuted at #1 on the Nielsen Soundscan Album Chart, with over 34,000 copies sold during its first week of release. This marks the second time Bieber has topped the charts this year, following the #1 debut of Never Say Never: The Remixes. Under The Mistletoe features guest appearances by Boyz II Men, Usher, Busta Rhymes, The Band Perry, Mariah Carey and was produced by Kuk Harrell. Fans can look forward to four Christmas videos from Under The Mistletoe, including 'Fa La La (featuring Boyz II Men)', 'All I Want For Christmas Is You (SuperFestive!) (duet with Mariah Carey)' and 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town', an Animagic animated version created by Classic Media. Justin will also appear in a non-animated version of 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' which will run in theatres in advance of the film "Arthur Christmas". To date, Bieber has amassed more than 11 million in worldwide sales, including almost 600,000 albums and over 921,000 combined digital singles in Canada.
