The irresistible new love song cements Kulyk as a true country cowgirl, effortlessly weaving her signature southern sound with reeling guitar riffs and emotional verses that speak from the soul. Referencing her ‘tumbleweed heart’ that ‘will drive a cowboy crazy,’ Kulyk’s skilled lyricism shines throughout the track.
"In the summer of 2025, I was freshly moved to Nashville with my family, but I was travelling a lot for shows and festivals. I felt like I was never in one place for more than two or three days. Which is where the theme of this song comes from.” Kalsey recalls, “When I sat in the writers room after going all summer, we dreamt this song up and I instantly fell in love with the idea, the hook and the song. This song is for all those people out there who drive their ‘Cowboy Crazy.’"
The single arrives as her first release of 2026, following the fiery single “Smokin’ Gun” released in November with the help of twangy guitar riffs and deep pulsating drum kicks. In July 2025, Kulyk released the carefree summer anthem “Till I Get To Heaven” - co-written by Kulyk with Liz Rose and Phil Barton. Currently #27 at Canadian radio and climbing, the track is a fun, relatable song about living life with no regrets.
Kulyk closed out 2025 with a nod from Dirt Road Country, naming Kalsey as a 2026 ‘Artist to Watch’ and listing “Neon Cowgirl” as a ‘Top 100 song of 2025’. “Till I Get To Heaven” also landed CBC Music’s Top 100 Canadian Songs of 2025. Kulyk took the stage at a number of notable events throughout the year. Just last week, Kulyk opened for renowned American country music star Easton Corbin for his show at The Stockyard in Holiday in Florida, OL. She secured an opening gig for James Barker Band’s Buckle Up Tour and performances at National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas and at the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Finals at Rogers Arena in Edmonton. At PBR, Kulyk had the honour of performing Canada’s National anthem, and some original songs during intermission. The performance was broadcast on TSN. The appearance provided Kalsey with an introduction to the bull riding community, with her signature western style and sound taking centre stage.
Kulyk recently announced a handful of Canadian and international dates through 2026. She will be performing at C2C Berlin side-stage in March for the first time in her career. She will also hit the stage at Canada’s own Living Skies Music Festival, Expo Lachute Fair, and Saskatoon Country Thunder Music Festival this summer. See full list of upcoming live dates below.

Kalsey Kulyk has enjoyed a lifelong passion for music. Mixing effortlessly rich and bright vocals with lyrics you feel in the guts, Kulyk brings a fresh yet familiar sound to the country music airwaves. Kulyk got hooked on singing and playing the guitar at a young age, taking part in hundreds of talent shows and competitions and winning her first songwriting competition at age 13. When diagnosed with cancer in high school, Kulyk didn’t hit pause on her dreams. Her journey to recovery created songwriting inspiration, and the entire experience solidified Kulyk’s belief in a career in music. Now with an arsenal of songs and a survivor’s determination, Kalsey Kulyk is sharing her passions with the world. In remission for 15 years, her goals are clear. “What is life,” she says, “unless you’re doing what you love every single day?”
In 2017, Kulyk’s hard work paid off when she won both the Canadian Country Music Association’s Discovery Artist program and Anthem Entertainment’s (formerly ole) “On The Spot” contest on the same day. Winning the ole competition came with publishing and record deals, setting the stage for her to launch her career. These opportunities allowed her to hone her craft in the Country music capital, Nashville, collaborating with notable songwriters like Liz Rose (Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood) and Phil Barton (Lee Brice, Eli Young Band). These experiences culminated in her 2019 self-titled debut album, which reached #2 on the Canadian iTunes Country Chart and earned a nomination for CCMA Roots Album of the Year.
