KUNGS ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM OUT LOUD, A VIBRANT NEW HORIZON OUT 13TH MARCH
Kungs embraces a club-first vision on his most focused and forward-thinking album to date

13 MARCH 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — French producer and global dance figure Kungs has announced his forthcoming album OUT LOUD, slated for release Friday 13th March. Created between Paris, London and Los Angeles, the album celebrates the meeting of groove, analog textures and electronic pulses, marking a bold new chapter in his career.
OUT LOUD sees Valentin Brunel (aka. Kungs) fully embracing a more physical, club-focused sound, redefining his sonic signature with a sound built for late nights, big systems and vibrant dancefloors, without losing the melodic instinct and pop sensibility that first defined his rise.
Following years of global success, Kungs began to question the way dance music is consumed. Once traditionally steering his catalogue of dance productions to radio audiences across the world, Kungs wanted his music to return to the scene’s roots. Out Loud is the result of that shift: a record designed first and foremost for clubs and live environments, energetic and visceral but still rich in hooks and emotion.
The album brings together an exciting and carefully curated group of collaborators who reflect Kungs’ evolving artistic direction. Among them is Channel Tres, whose collaboration on ‘Nasty’ began with early demo sessions alongside Benny Ola in Los Angeles, laying the foundations for one of the album’s most infectious cuts with a warping bassline and Tres’ commanding vocal. Theophilus London, a long-time friend since the COVID era, also features. After reconnecting in person post-pandemic, the two finally translated their creative chemistry into ‘Galaxy’, a release soaked in 80s off-kilter soul.
At the core of Out Loud is Kungs’ collaboration with Boys Noize on ‘Get Away’, described by Brunel as the most influential connection on the album. Their track together stands as the album’s opening moment, blending Boys Noize’s harder, more techno-driven approach with Kungs’ disco and Italo influences. Boys Noize also mixed the album, helping to shape its sonic identity and strike what Kungs calls a “magical harmony” between the project’s more industrial toughness and its melodic warmth.
Other features include PNAU on the mechanical and energising ‘Light Me Up’, CHANEY on ‘Addicted’, which marks the album’s halfway point with its deep and thumping club cut, and Stevie Appleton on ‘Body Talk’, where the collaborators blend a subtle 80s influence with a driving bassline built for today's dancefloors.
Kungs, originally from Toulon, rose to global fame at just 19 with ‘This Girl’, a chart-topping, multi-Diamond hit that launched him onto the world’s biggest festival stages and led to his debut album ‘Layers’ (2016). He continued to shape feel-good dance music with post-lockdown anthem ‘Never Going Home’ and the club-loving album ‘Club Azur’, followed by major collaborations including ‘Substitution’ with Purple Disco Machine and ‘All Night Long’ with David Guetta and Izzy Bizu.
Kungs will bring this new project to the stage during a one-of-a-kind concert at the Zénith de Paris on 3rd April, imagined as an immersive experience where light, movement and scenography interact seamlessly with the music.
