19 JUNE 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Kuzi Cee steps into his most confident territory yet on “GIA,” a sultry new release that finds the Gen Z R&B loverboy trading romantic uncertainty for temptation and desire. Blending smooth melodies with a sharper, more rhythmic delivery, the track introduces a bolder dimension to Kuzi’s sound, one driven less by longing and more by attraction.
“With ‘GIA,’ the ‘real diamond’ idea is about valuing what’s genuine — her natural beauty, confidence, and energy. And of course, if you really care about her, you’re gonna put some diamonds on her,” says Kuzi Cee. “It’s summertime, we’re back outside, and I wanted this record to reflect that energy. VVS K CEE had to make a little appearance.”
Out now via Universal Music Canada, “GIA” uses the language of diamond certification as a metaphor for attraction and authenticity. Anchored by the refrain “she want a real diamond, got it all natural,” the track finds Kuzi captivated by someone whose allure feels impossible to ignore, turning a fleeting attraction into something far more consuming.
