30 JUNE 2017 (TORONTO, ON) - Los Angeles trio LANY release their 16-track self-titled debut album today via Polydor Records/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. LANY includes their latest global streaming hit single, “ILYSB” (I love you so bad), and is available on CD, vinyl and digital formats as well as a box set and album/merch bundles.

LANY recently revealed the video for one of the first tracks to be shared from the album, the fan favourite, “Good Girls”.  Shot in LA, the video sees lead singer and songwriter Paul Klein pensively striding through neon-lit streets like a man on a mission.  The video nods to the iconic “Bittersweet Symphony” video, transposed to the murky nocturnal world of the film,  Drive.

“’Good Girls’ addresses the emotions of disappointment and unmet expectations battling against unconditional love and second/infinite chances,” says Klein.  “Considering the narrative of the ‘ILYSB’ music video, I thought it’d be cool to set up the storyline of this specific song as a potential prequel. Watch ’til the end.”

In addition to the music video, the trio also collaborated with Snapchat earlier this week to create their very own lens for “Good Girls”, with everyone from Tove Lo and Demi Lovato to Jared Leto, Chloe Grace Moretz and Anna Kendrick getting involved.

LANY sees the band tap into not only the trials and tribulations of relationships and the feelings of displacement, but also the endless search for love and a place to call home. The album exposes the very real issues for one of the hardest working bands around, having been on the road for over 250 shows in the past two years.
