LUKE BRYAN TO RELEASE FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM CRASH MY PARTY ON AUGUST 13

For immediate release

Title Track Currently Climbing the Canadian Country Radio Charts

(TORONTO, ON – 27 June 2013) - Luke Bryan has announced the title of his highly anticipated forthcoming album, Crash My Party, to be released August 13 via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.  Bryan revealed the title and cover of the album to his fans this week on his official website by challenging them to “uncover” tiles that were hiding the album cover image by tweeting #CrashMyParty. Crash My Party is named after the album’s lead single which is currently at #3 and rising on the Canadian Country Radio Charts. The album is produced by Jeff Stevens, who produced all of Luke’s previous records. “I decided Crash My Party was perfect for this album because like the song, the album goes beyond the literal meaning of the title,” says Bryan. “The song isn't what you think it is, it is unexpected, and I think in the same way fans will definitely hear some surprises on my new album.  It still reflects my sound but you will get to hear a little bit deeper, different side to me musically as well.” Crash My Party is the follow-up to Luke’s most successful album to date, tailgates & tanlines which has now been certified Platinum in Canada.  tailgates & tanlines contains back-to-back Platinum singles, “Drunk On You” & “I Don’t Want This Night To End” alongside double-Platinum “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)”. The album was also a success at Canadian Country Radio with three tracks reaching #1. Crash My Party is also being released on the heels of Luke’s latest spring break compilation, Spring Break…Here To Party (March 2013), which debuted at #1 on Neilsen Soundscan Charts in Canada and the US and is certified Gold. Luke’s recent Academy of Country Music Award wins for Entertainer of the Year and Vocal Event (“Only Way I Know”) with Eric Church and Jason Aldean, along with his first-time ACM hosting duty with Blake Shelton are just a few of the career highlights. Billboard named tailgates & tanlines the #2 Country Album and the #3 Country Artist Album of 2012 and claimed Luke as the #3 Top Country Artist of the Year.  In 2012, Luke took home 11 music awards, including a record 9 wins at the American Country Awards as well as his first American Music Award.
