20 OCTOBER 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Today, Liam Payne releases his highly-anticipated new single “Bedroom Floor” via Capitol Records / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The provocative new song is his second solo single following his debut, worldwide hit “Strip That Down” featuring Quavo.

“Bedroom Floor” was co-written by Charlie Puth, Noel Zancanella (OneRepublic, Taylor Swift) J Kash (Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj), Ammar Malik (Kesha, Jessie J), Aaron Jennings and Steve Mac – the acclaimed songwriter who co-wrote Liam’s debut single.

Of the new single “Bedroom Floor”, Liam says, “I’m so excited to finally release this song. I’ve been working on it for a while and am really happy with how it sounds. It’s a bit different from what you’ve heard from me before, but helps to show where I’m going with my album. It’s very important to me to keep challenging myself, to keep pushing into new areas.”

“Strip That Down” is the biggest-selling solo single from a current member of One Direction, and a smash hit across the globe – selling over 5 million units to date worldwide. The track went triple platinum in Canada and Australia, double platinum in Ireland, and platinum status in the USA, UK, Italy, New Zealand and Sweden. It also peaked #3 at Top 40 Radio and has seen over 623 million streams to date, with over 25 million streams solely in Canada.
