9 July 2013 (TORONTO, ON) – Alberta’s Livy Jeanne has announced the release of her debut single “Any Other Way” via Black Box Music/ Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. “Any Other Way” is available to preview and purchase here. To view the lyric video, click here. Livy Jeanne’s songs examine and explore many of the issues facing young women, drawing from the artist’s own experiences. During her early teens, Livy Jeanne was the victim of relentless school bullying. Instead of bowing to defeat, she only grew more driven and determined to rise above it all. “I found myself turning to music,” she shares. “I started writing my feelings and ideas into a journal, and then those turned into songs.” While perfecting her singing and songwriting skills, Livy teamed up with Kids Help Phone. As an ambassador, she tours Alberta schools performing her music and sharing her message of empathy and empowerment. To date, she has shared her story with nearly 75,000 students. All before her 18th birthday, Livy had shared stages with the likes of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, George Canyon and One More Girl and helped raise thousands of dollars for various charities.
