LUKE BRYAN SCORES HIS SECOND #1 ALBUM THIS YEAR WITH CRASH MY PARTY

TITLE TRACK #1 ON CANADIAN COUNTRY RADIO AND CERTIFIED GOLD THIS SUMMER

(TORONTO, ON - 21 August 2013) – Crash My Party, the fourth studio album from country music superstar, Luke Bryan has debuted at #1 today on the Canadian Nielsen Soundscan chart, selling over 29,000 units in one week. Crash My Party, released via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company on August 13 is Luke’s second #1 debut in Canada and the US this year. The title track climbed to the top of the Canadian Country Radio charts earlier this summer and is certified Gold. “I’ve never been this excited about an album that I have put out, and the response I have gotten is really humbling and mind-blowing to me,” Luke says.  “I am lucky to have some of the best fans in the world, and I am happy to see them enjoying this album as much as I do. I’m just so thankful for my fans and for country radio for the amazing support.” Crash My Party is the follow-up to Luke’s Platinum-selling tailgates & tanlines (August 2011) which featured double-Platinum “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” and back-to-back Platinum singles, “Drunk On You” & “I Don’t Want This Night To End”. The album was also a success at Canadian Country Radio with three tracks reaching #1. Luke’s spring break compilation, Spring Break…Here To Party (March 2013) also debuted at #1 on Neilsen Soundscan Charts in Canada and the US and is certified Gold. This spring, Luke co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards with Blake Shelton and received the coveted Entertainer of the Year award as well as the Vocal Event award with Jason Aldean and Eric Church for “The Only Way I Know.”
