Taken From Their UK Top 5 Album Can’t Touch Us Now

10 FEBRUARY 2017 (Toronto, ON) - Fresh from their sold out UK arena tour and the UK top 5 success of twelfth studio album, Can’t Touch Us Now, one of the UK’s most beloved bands, Madness, today announce the release of Another Version Of Me. Produced by regular Madness collaborators Clive Langer and Liam Watson at Watson’s studio Toe Rag in East London, the track delves into the topic of material possessions, egos and in believing that you are a unique being, while maintaining the band’s bold, energetic trademark sound. Woody Woodgate, drummer of Madness says ‘Another Version Of Me basically is about everyone being the same. I’ve got a mortgage, kids, a wife… what the song hopes to do is level everyone in the sense of trying to get over the ego of us being either better or worse off than anyone else because we are all just different versions of each other‘. 2016 proved to be hectic one for the Nutty Boys as they road tested their new material at some of the UK’s most iconic and popular festivals including - the main stage at Glastonbury, headlining Clapham Common with their very own House of Common festival, and a fully sold UK tour in December which included a show at the O2 Arena, London. 2017 continues in the same vein as the ska-pop legends entertain 30,000 revellers as they headline Camp Bestival, once again play their own House Of Common festival and House of Fun Weekenders and headline Victorious Festival.
