28 OCTOBER 2022 (TORONTO) - Today sees London-based popstar Mae Muller release her newest single ‘I Just Came To Dance’ out now via Capitol / EMI Records / Universal Music Canada.

After teasing the song on her TikTok earlier this month ‘I Just Came To Dance’ sees Mae return to the spotlight following her recent collaborative tracks ‘American Psycho’ with Trippie Redd and Marshmello, and chart smash ‘Better Days’ with NEIKED and Polo G.

The new single is an instant earworm and dancefloor filler that is sure to get people moving as the evenings draw closer. Written on a recent trip to LA, Mae worked alongside the likes of Jason Evigan (Troye Sivan, Dua Lipa, Madonna) and Lionel Crasta (Charli XCX, Hayley Kiyoko, FLETCHER) to create the contagious new single that sees Mae’s signature vocal delivery compliment the pulsating bassline and hypnotic melody making this song a soon to be hit.

Speaking about the new single, Mae explains “Okay one confession about me is I am a massive flirt, and that is what I want this song to feel like. One big, massive FLIRT. When you meet someone when you least expect it can be so exciting, and I wanted to capture that, while also capturing the tease. When you know someone is feeling you so you kind of make them sweat a little bit. It's also time that we all just had a dance.”

Alongside the single Mae has also released the video directed by Fred Rowson (Little Mix, Wet Leg, Years & Years, Bree Runway). Watch HERE.

The past year has seen Mae perform to thousands of fans across the UK including a sold-out headline show at The O2 Kentish Town Forum as well as stages across including the likes of Isle of MTV, Reading & Leeds, Mighty Hoopla, Parklife and Isle of Wight Festival
