11 OCTOBER 2016 (Toronto, ON) – Three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum band Maroon 5 announce their new single “Don’t Wanna Know” featuring Top Dawg Entertainment Recording artist Kendrick Lamar, releasing at all digital retailers today at 9pm PST through 222 Records/Interscope and Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The song officially goes to radio today as well. Maroon 5 will also premiere the music video for “Don’t Wanna Know” on NBC’s TODAY on October 14. The band’s new video is another unique, unforgettable, and undeniable visual clip. For the video, they re-teamed with acclaimed director, producer, and screenwriter David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), who helmed the music video for Maroon 5’s Grammy-nominated six times-platinum selling single “Sugar” —which amassed 1.4 billion YouTube/VEVO views and counting and stands out as the group’s “most-viewed video to date.” “Don’t Wanna Know” marks Maroon 5’s first official collaboration with seven time GRAMMY Award- winning artist Kendrick Lamar and showcases another evolution for both artists.
