“…I did the band thing for years…didn’t work out. I was digging ditches, and I write this song. Chris Pratt tells me not to sign a deal. Anna Faris is in my video. I don’t listen to Pratt and sign to Republic. Then, I post videos I’m not supposed to post and release songs illegally that become radio successes (a.k.a the song “Plastic Soul”). It’s a feel-good story. I’m fucking 37, and I’m doing what I’m doing. I shouldn’t be, but it’s happening..”
