MOTHER MOTHER NEW FULL LENGTH ALBUM, DANCE AND CRY, OUT NOW

BAND ANNOUNCES NORTH AMERICAN TOUR, TICKETS ON-SALE NOVEMBER 9TH

2 November, 2018 (Toronto, ON)  Chart topping alt-rockers Mother Mother release their new album Dance and Cry today via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The album marks the Juno-nominated groups seventh full length studio record and is available HERE. In addition to the new release, the Vancouver-based band announced an extensive North American tour today that will kick off on January 12th. Full tour dates are listed below and tickets will go on-sale starting November 9th. VIP packages are available November 3rd at 10am local time at mothermothervip.com.

The new album features 12-tracks, all of which were written by lead singer Ryan Guldemond and produced by Guldemond and Ben Kaplan. The songs on Dance and Cry relate back to an organic, stripped down sound that reflects the bands earlier material and share themes of survival, self-reflection, sorrow and happiness. “Get Up” the lead single off the album has been met with much fanfare, impressively rocketing into the top 5 and nabbing the title of #1 most added song at Canada Alternative Rock radio in its first week of release. Check out the music video for the single directed by Connor McGuire and shot in Vancouver HERE.

Mother Mother wrapped a successful tour earlier this summer in celebration of their iconic album O My Heart’s tenth anniversary and are eager to get back out on the road and share the new music with live audiences. Fans will have a chance to see the band in action when they kick off their North American tour in January 2019 with extensive tour stops that include Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles and New York. Tickets go on-sale on November 9th, full details below.

About Mother Mother

The Juno and MMVA nominated Vancouver-based band, comprised of Ryan Guldemond, Molly Guldemond, Jasmin Parkin, Ali Siadat and Mike Young, has had a whirlwind decade; garnering seven top 10 singles on the alt rock Canadian charts and 41 million streams and counting on digital platforms. Their latest album, 2017’s No Culture, produced “The Drugs” a #1 single on the Alt Rock charts in Canada for three consecutive weeks. The alt-rockers first earned critical acclaim with their debut albums Touch Up (2007) and O My Heart (2008). The releases that followed, Eureka (2011) and The Sticks (2012) delivered the top 5 radio hits “The Stand”, “Bit By Bit” and “Let’s Fall In Love”, making the band the second most aired alternative act in Canada in 2012 and 2013. In 2014 they racked up more hits with “Get Out The Way”, “Monkey Tree” and “Modern Love” from their much-lauded record Very Good Bad Thing. The band has also found success on the road, most recent tours include sold-out headline dates across North America, selling out the historic Massey Hall, and a record-breaking five consecutive sold-out shows at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver.
