MULTI-PLATINUM COUNTRY STAR LUKE BRYAN TO RELEASE FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM AUGUST 13

TORONTO, ON – (14 May 2013) – Luke Bryan, the 2013 Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year, will release his fourth studio album on August 13 as announced last night on The Late Show with David Letterman. Luke performed the first single, “Crash My Party”, on the show from his upcoming album to be released via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The August 13 release is yet to be titled and is the follow up to the platinum-selling, tailgates & tanlines (2011), Bryan’s most successful album to date. The upcoming summer album releases on the heels of Luke’s most successful spring break series album, Spring Break…Here To Party (2013), which debuted at #1 on the Soundscan Charts in Canada and the US this past March. Bryan’s 2013 Academy of Country Music Award wins for Entertainer of the Year and Vocal Event (“Only Way I Know”) with Eric Church and Jason Aldean, along with his first-time ACM hosting duty with Blake Shelton, are just a few of his recent career highlights. Additional accolades include Platinum sales for tailgates & tanlines, which features the double-platinum single “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” as well as the platinum singles “Drunk On You” and “I Don’t Want This Night To End”.  His spring break shows in Panama City Beach, Florida this past March brought in 120,000 fans during the two-day concert event, documented in his video for “Just A Sip” here. Luke is currently nominated for four CMT Music Awards and will perform on the show Wednesday, June 5.
