14 MAY 2021 (TORONTO, ON) – After making a huge splash with latest single “Wave of You” the multi-platinum-selling duo Surfaces - comprised of Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki – drop new track “Next Thing (Loverboy),” now via 10K Projects/Homemade Projects - listen HERE. Written and produced by Forrest & Colin, the track is the perfect follow up to the infectious “Wave of You.”

Fans will have the chance to see the new music performed live when Surfaces take to the stage for some newly announced live shows. The band recently announced their first live show of the year at Stubb’s in Austin, TX on Friday, June 25. Tickets went on sale starting Friday, May 7 at 10 AM Central at surfacesmusic.com/tour. Additionally, Surfaces will perform at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on September 4, and Life is Beautiful Festival on September 17. Fans can expect more festival and tour date announcements to come.

 

“Wave of You” continues to rake in massive streaming numbers, hitting over 10 million global streams within just two weeks of release. The track marked the duo’s biggest solo debut to date and has been met with wide support across all major DSPs, including key playlists.

 

The duo shot to meteoric fame after their song “Sunday Best” became a global smash hit. The song was certified double-platinum by the RIAA, with over 2.3 billion streams, they performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and The TODAY Show. Additionally, they had the chance to collaborate with one of their idols, Sir Elton John, on the single “Learn To Fly.”

ABOUT SURFACES:
Surfaces is a Texas-based duo comprised of Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki. The band formed in 2017, with Forrest manning vocals and production, and Colin handling writing and arrangements, they released their debut album later that year titled Surf. Within a year of partnering, Surfaces’ music began to take off, connecting with fans around the world who found something special in the band’s blend of buoyant production and “no shirt, no shoes, no problem” energy. The enthusiastic response led to two more self-made albums, Where the Light Is (2019) and Horizons (2020), and launched them into global stardom.
