13 NOVEMBER 2025 (TORONTO, ON) — On the heels of Jann Arden Christmas Tour set to begin November 14, Jann Arden’s A Jann Arden Christmas album is officially certified platinum. Released in 2015 via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, the album’s 13 tracks continue to capture the cheer and wonder surrounding the holiday season for listeners alike.

On the creation of the album back in 2015, Arden said “I always wanted to make a Christmas record, and I wanted to do something really, really special and timeless. There are Christmas albums that I listen to year after year: the Carpenters, Streisand, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald – these records were the soundtracks to such wonderful memories and happy times.”

With the release of her acclaimed new album MIXTAPE earlier this year, Arden hit the road for The MIXTAPE Tour across the country which took fans on a nostalgic trip throughout the spring and summer. MIXTAPE is the follow-up to the 2021 album Descendant and features some of her favourite nineties pop recordings from the likes of Sia, Seal, Joan Osborne, Robyn, Don Henley, Chris Isaac, and others.

Arden will also be appearing in tonight’s episode of CBC's The Assembly, the new documentary series which features a cast of autistic and neurodivergent adults interviewing famous Canadians throughout six episodes. Arden's episode premieres tonight (Nov.13) at 9 p.m. (9:30 NT) on CBC TV and is available to stream for free on CBC Gem here.

As a longtime advocate for animal welfare and known for her extensive charitable work and activism, Arden will deliver a special musical tribute at the memorial event honouring Dr. Jane Goodall, ‘A Celebration of a Life of Hope’, on Saturday, November 22 2025 at Convocation Hall in Toronto.
