15 NOVEMBER 2019 (TORONTO, ON) - Sixteen-time GRAMMY^® award-winning songwriter and one of the most successful producers in history, David Foster, is set to release a collection of his timeless classics, An Intimate Evening on November 22 via Decca Records/Universal Music Canada, the country's leading music company.  The album is a companion piece to his upcoming PBS special, Great Performances: An Intimate Evening with David Foster airing on November 29 (check local listings).  You can pre-order the album here.

 

A prolific songwriter and music producer, “Hitman” David Foster, has also achieved a dual career as a crowd-pleasing international performer in his own right, with two prior star-studded David Foster & Friends concerts recorded for Great Performances. In An Intimate Evening with David Foster, Foster performs songs he wrote or produced from his four decades of hits, including Celine Dion’s “The Power Of Love,” Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” Earth Wind and Fire’s “After The Love Is Gone,” Chicago’s “You’re the Inspiration,” Michael Bublé’s “Home” and many more. Joining Foster for this special evening of entertainment are Pia Toscano, Sheléa, Fernando Varela, Loren Allred and television and Broadway star Katharine McPhee.

 

The album, An Intimate Evening, captures performances from the special and showcases his unparalleled catalog reinterpreted by stars and friends that include Pia Toscano, Loren Allred, Sheléa, and Katharine McPhee.
